Time to Relax
Well. Seems like operation #findbetty has so for been incredibly unsuccessful... I've submitted the serial number and will now sit and wait! However in an effort to stay positive, here are a few things we gained: An awesome story. An amazing weekend at a sweet ass festival #SpringBoardSouth. A cool rental car. And lastly a nice relaxing finish to a busy day with a good friend! Here's to Betty! If you'd like to help the band be sure to check out our Kickstarter! We leave for tour next week and there are only a few days left on the campaign. https://www.kickstarter.com/profile/projects
Advancements!
It's been an eventful few hours! We decided to go for plan B and take Olga, my Volvo to the dealer. They are making a new key that we will have by tomorrow. This is Steve and Brandon they hooked us up with some sweet costumer service and a nice shuttle to the rent a car place!
We're headed to our place of stay for the night. We do plan to consume some drinkage tonight to ease the pain. For there has been no sign of Betty returning. But there's hope! I plan to upload the serial number to the police database incase our swiper tries to sell her! There's still hope. There's always hope.
It's looking bleak....
Hey baseball fans.... Things aren't looking to good! All the footage from the venue shows no one with my guitar and no artists from the festival have spotted anything. Looks like we'll have to do some towing, make a new key and live with out Betty! BUT, we can keep our hopes up. Maybe the backline guys misplaced it, or maybe all the musicians will wake up around 3 and find Betty in their trunk! Who knows. Keep sending all those positive vibes our way!
Stranded in Houston
Well! Here's a tasty bit of info: my keys were in the guitar case! So the nice people with Spring Board set Kevin and I up in the Four Seasons Hotel. Here are some sweet selfies of me living the fancy life.
The search continues today! Well get breakfast and probably drinks because you know.... Sadness + drinks = happiness.
The Curious Case of the Missing Martin, Betty
Well folks. Last night at the Spring Board South Music Festival, Burris played an amazing set! We made great connections and saw some fantastic talent, but at the end of the night my wonderful Martin Guitar, Betty, went missing. I acquired her my freshmen year of college to use in all my Burris endeavors. She has treated me well so far. Hopefully this whole incident is just an accident, but regardless here is my account of all the events that are about to unfold! Here's a picture of me and my wonderful Betty!
